Is it possible to study in an American Law school such as Columbia, after earning a degree from the UK?
ByI am currently studying psychology at UCL in London, after I complete my degree and get my doctorate in the subject, I want to know if it is possible to go to an American Law School to get a degree in Law, as I am planning on moving to the states. If it is possible, what are the procedures? do I need to do any extra exams and so forth, Thanks.

There are always advertisements for scholarships for UK graduates to do a post grad degree in the US. You should go to your university careers office for more information. Demand for these are very high from what I hear so be prepared for an interview and things like that

You should contact the American Law School (whichever school you wish to attend to) and ask them to provide you with their eligibility requirements. Extra exams requirements etc. may vary from school to school.

Yes, it’s possible. Law school admission requirements include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent international 4-year university degree in any subject, LSAT scores, recommendations, and essays. Most law schools require their applicants to submit all documents through LSAC (Law School Admission Council), so your first step would be to determine which law schools you want to apply to, gather application requirements, and register with LSAC http://www.lsac.org.
Don’t worry if you have more than 4 years of university education. This is probably viewed as an advantage by the admissions committee.
Good Luck!
